AdvoCare's Resource Development is devoted to maintaining the structure and funding needed to promote responsible justice through education, stable programs, self-sufficiency, and balanced policy.
We also provide legal research and/or materials where access may be limited. The volunteer staff at AdvoCare are not practicing attorneys, and they cannot provide representation or advice. However, we do have access to a great deal of case law, court rules, etc. This information can often be provided to indivduals who may have limited access to such materials. (When making requests for this type of information, please be as specific as possible and allow plenty of time for responses.)
Finally, we have often recognized the great need for education before, during, and after incarceration. Certainly, we have noticed the link between poor education and high incarceration rates. Therefore, it is one of our goals to research, locate, and even develop resources for the education of those at risk.
